This listing was written by certified harp technician, Karen Gottlieb.  The harp was recently regulated and inspected by Karen for the owner, and taken by its very good condition, felt that it should be considered for anyone in the market for a concert grand pedal harp.

This 24 year old harp shows beautifully with few cosmetic issues. Of importance, it has a very big even, wonderful sound.

The harp is structurally in excellent condition with no twist to the neck or any movement in the sounding board or base frame. There is some minor clicking in the mechanism/rivets but not a problem.

The harp was purchased new in 1996 from Lyon & Healy Harps in Chicago by professional harpist Michael Rado. He sold it to its current owner in 1999.

Unlike earlier Style 30 models, the harp has a ‘round back’ and there is a very large space for the right hand in the top octaves, both which make this harp very comfortable to play.

The harp has been well cared for, maintained and regulated most years by harp technicians Mike Lewis or Karen Gottlieb. It just received a full inspection and regulation. It is in top shape and ready to go. If you or a student is interested, the harp is a gem. I think it has a wonderful sound.
