(More images below. Click to enlarge)

Lovely FH36S purchased new by the owner in 2002.  Its sound is rich and full throughout with a deep resounding bass and bright upper register.

A huge appeal for this instrument is that all new eyelets and new strings were installed in 2018 and the harp was given a full regulation. This instrument is truly ready to be played.

There is a very minor nick towards the base of the harp which does not in any way effect the sound nor construction or playing quality of the instrument, and is highly reasonable considering the age of the instrument.

It is a fully-matured harp which has been kept and maintained in near-new condition.

This semi-grand model favorite by Lyon & Healy features similar elements to the larger Style 23 model in a slightly smaller size.

Built in 1969, the harp has aged well. The sound is very, very good. A classic Lyon & Healy sound; warm and resonant. And it has  more spacing in the upper octaves for the right hand.

The gold is in very good condition except for the base which shows some wear. There are some dings and scratches, acceptable for a harp of this age. The decorated soundboard is worn away in places, possibly due to cleaning. All are considered cosmetic issues however, made evident in the reasonable asking price.

The harp was last regulated and re-strung by harp technician, Peter Speziale who determined the instrument to have no cracks or damage except for the clay cast of the crown, visible below the gold leaf.

DUSTY STRINGS FH36B/H (36) LEVER HARP #1992

Original owner’s beautiful Dusty Strings  FH 36B maple harp, played
professionally for 15 years, has a bright, sparkly, resonant sound.

Though built in 1993, in July, 2019, the harp had its square back sound box and soundboard recently replaced with a new FH36H “hybrid” stave back, along with all new eyelets, new strings and a full regulation, all by the manufacturer.

Due to its sound box modification, the soundboard veneer and sound box are of a lighter hue but will age as the rest of the harp over time.

There are some very minor scratches on the column, the neck, and a few dings and scratches on the feet of the harp, normal for a harp this age.

The harp comes with a CD36 red deluxe Dusty Strings case, a partial set of strings, a standard tuning key and a custom-made travel freight case. The red case has some cat scratches, otherwise in usable condition.

This is an extremely fair price for a well-restored, almost like-new instrument.
