Dusty Strings' Ravenna series of harps provides a harp player a most affordable good quality, well made, well designed, instrument with Dusty Strings' characteristic bright, full sound. (Please note: the standard natural neck and pillar on the Ravenna Series is currently out of production and being replaced by the black neck and pillar shown here until further notice (see below for more information).
The Ravenna is constructed with high quality woods, hardware and
materials. The soundboard is made from clear finished laminated Finland birch, the neck and pillar from solid ash with a clear lacquer finish and the sound box is also laminated Finland birch with black ash-grained vinyl veneer. The Ravenna's stave-back design allows for great playing comfort and even tension across
the strings. It is available with 26 or 34 strings.

The Ravenna is available for purchase in its barest minimum allowing this model to be a good option for those on a limited budget. The harp case, stand with legs or sharping levers can be ordered with the harp or added later, as budget allows.

Our Packages offer everything needed (string set not included). If you can afford the package price it could cost you less than purchasing the options later. Still, you can add exactly what you want to the Ravenna base model and know you have a well-built, good sounding instrument that you can add-on to when needed.
We always suggest a full set of sharping levers for your harp, which opens up the range of keys that you can play in. But if budget requires you wait to add sharping levers later, all the lever holes are pre-drilled on the Ravenna models, making it possible to add Loveland levers later on. It does require time and detailed work to install but with a little patience you can do it yourself! Instructions are available upon request.
A pared-down version may be considered a special order instrument and require a 20% good faith deposit. Normal wait-time is between 5 - 20 days, depending on production schedule. Due to strict and costly shipping restrictions, please be aware that HILA must add a $30.00 service fee to the purchase of any Ravenna model not purchased with a case. Read below for reasons why.
