Likely built circa 1917–1918, this beautiful gold Wurlitzer Starke pedal harp is in wonderful condition. It has 44 strings (from top F to low E bass wire) and has been maintained and tuned regularly. This harp is rich in history.
Like many Wurlitzer Starke harps of this era, its sound is rich, highly resonant, and well balanced across all registers. This harp is especially beautiful and a joy to play.
The harp underwent extensive work by Carl Swanson Studios in 2010, which included a new neck, an action re-rivet and significant action touch-up, regulation and new strings.
The price includes a bench, tuning key, and harp trolley.
