Built in 1967, this Lyon & Healy Style 15 pedal harp is a sought-after model for its compact size and impressive sound. Its straight soundboard and semi-grand size makes it lighter and easier to transport than a larger concert pedal harp, while still possessing the classic Lyon & Healy sound quality.
The harp has a rich, resonant tone and is easy to play. Its pedal action is very smooth and quiet, and the 24K gold crown adds a distinctive finishing touch. The finish is also in very good condition for a harp of this age.
In August 2026, certified harp technician Gabriel Diaz installed an interior brace to the lower section of the soundboard. He also assessed the instrument and found it to be in structurally good condition, noting that the action had previously been refurbished.
With its manageable size and pleasing sound, this Style 15 is perfect for any one; a young student or an adult starting out on pedal, someone in search of a smaller, more transportable gig harp, or simply someone looking for a vintage model instrument with history and character and a warm, rich sound.
