The Style 22 is considered by many to be the perfect sized harp for its resonance and ease of play and this Style 22 harp is a nice example of a very good, classic Lyon & Healy instrument.

Regularly tuned, played and regulated, this semi-grand instrument has been taken care of well and is in very good condition. The tone is warm and resonant.

Built in 1946, the harp is richly carved similar to that of the Style 23. The harp is curly maple and gold with no rebuilds or repairs. There are various dings, and the gold is considered in good condition (see images below).

Recently diagnosed and regulated by certified harp technician Joseph Urban in September, 2020, the harp is in good structural condition. There is rivet clicking in the mechanism which has been noted in the asking price. The neck is in very good condition. The harp has its original soundboard and ivory eyelets.

This is a lovely harp; well cared for with a beautiful, warm tone.
