CLARK IRISH HARP STYLE A #2310 (31)

SOLD

Purchased and refurbished by current owner in 1995. Built possibly around the
1940's, this small portable and completely playable harp, designed by Melville Clark and built by the Clark Music Co., is a real treasure with a beautiful sound.

Kept in close to historical condition, the harp possesses the original Birdseye maple sound box, spruce soundboard and beautiful Celtic decals on sound box.

In 1995 the current owner had the original neck and pillar replaced by Hidden Valley Harps in Escondido CA, using the dimensions of the original parts. Very nice workmanship! They added Loveland sharping levers on all C, D, F and G strings. The harp hold its tune well and rarely breaks strings. It has a sweet tone for such a small harp.

Harp also includes its original folding wooden base/stand which functions perfectly. The harp clicks into a fitting on the base with a lever that allows the player to tip the harp backwards for playing while all 4 base legs rest on the floor.
